CASCADIA is seeking four short film scripts, 20 pages or less, written by women for its 2022 Script Studio at the festival in May. Submissions will open Wednesday, Dec.1 through Film Freeway and continue through Jan. 31, 2022. The four writers chosen will be invited to the 2022 festival to hear their scripts read by an ensemble of actors before a live audience followed by a critique from a panel of film professionals.
“This was such a great experience! I got excellent feedback on my script from true industry professionals of a caliber I did not expect to see at such a budget-friendly festival. I will definitely be entering again next year with a different project,” says Cathy Trope, one of CASCADIA’s 2021 Script Studio writers.
