Awards $25,000 To One Woman, Non-Binary, or Transgender Filmmaker Age 39 Or Older Working on Their First Narrative Feature
The Lynn Shelton “Of a Certain Age” Grant, is a project-based award that provides $25,000 to one woman, non-binary, and/or transgender director in the film industry in honor of the late filmmaker Lynn Shelton’s legacy. It is eligible to a U.S. filmmaker, age 39 or older, who is working on their first narrative feature (65 minutes or over) as a director. This year’s cycle will be a national open call, an evolution from 2020’s nomination-based process. The application window closes Tuesday, September 7 at 9 p.m. PST.
