We are beyond excited and honored to be one of the recipients of the 39th Annual Mayor’s Arts Award. We are among an amazing group of recipients who encapsulate a range of artists, advocates, organizations, and performances that have significantly contributed to the arts in our community.  The award will be presented in a special ceremony 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 2nd in the Mount Baker Theatre‘s Walton Theatre. We’d love you to join us in the celebration!

We would like to give a HUGE thanks to our team of staff, Board of Directors and Advisory Board Members, volunteers, sponsors, and donors who deserve our deepest thanks. Our second annual festival of films directed by women from around the world was a incredible success thanks to their hard work and donations. We couldn’t have done it without them and we are so excited to continue the momentum toward our mission to promote women directors and Bellingham as a filmmaking and film-viewing destination!

A very big thank you is also due to the many supporters who donated to the festival. Every little bit has helped us move closer to our mission and we are so very grateful.
We’re looking forward to additional educational events and film screenings later this year. We hope you’ll join us and continue to support women’s voices through film.
