But there are several ways you can get involved right now. We’ve recently set up a PayPal-based portal to receive donations.
We’re also gathering sponsors for the upcoming festival now. By signing up early as a personal or business sponsor, you’ll receive the benefits of your sponsorship level starting right away, which means more recognition for your business or organization over the next several months.
Fred Meyer Community Rewards Program
Another easy way to support CASCADIA with very little effort is to use your Fred Meyer Rewards card. We have teamed up with the Fred Meyer’s Community Rewards program to be one of the nonprofits you can choose to support with your usual shopping. All you have to do is link your Fred Meyer Rewards Card by using our code 90418 or by searching CASCADIA and we’ll receive your a donation from Fred Meyer every time you shop at no extra cost to you.
Thank you in advance for taking just a minute to help us in this way. Every little bit helps us move toward our mission of supporting and educating women directors and establishing Bellingham, Whatcom County and the Pacific Northwest as a filmmaking and film-viewing destination.

It provides a collaborative platform for its more than 100 members to develop and share operational and curatorial efficiency, set professional standards, and establish best practices. We have the privilege of learning from other festivals so that ours will continue to grow and improve each year.
With the belief that film festivals strengthen communities, educate and inspire, nourish minds and spirits and enrich lives we can’t wait to update you with all that Cheryl and Amy have learned at the convergence!
Behind the scenes we’re also working on the beautiful and informative festival program, commemorative merchandise that will be available for purchase, and a host of other details to ensure a stimulating festival experience for all April 12-15, 2018 in Bellingham, WA.
Coming from out of town? Bellingham Whatcom County Tourism’s website is a great centralized location for planning information. Mark your calendar now and start planning your trip for this April.
We at CASCADIA thank you for your continued support. By making women’s voices heard, we can help change the world, one film at a time.
